This project was actually accomplished three years ago but is making headlines again as a testimonial to our continuous support of our customer through the use of our electronic Graphic Support System, GSS for short.

The owner of this aircraft recently replaced the engine cowl on his 1931 Waco RNF. The physical replacement of the cowl was a normal process but the process of exactly matching the stripe that extends from the engine cowl to the tail of the airplane was made significantly easier as the stripe was actually vinyl. Because of the production and record keeping methods used by Air Graphics, the owner of this aircraft simply had to call us up and ask for a duplicate stripe of approximately four feet in length to be reproduced. Once we were given the go-ahead, we produced an identical portion in color and shape and shipped the same day.

There was no need for any attempts to match paint colors, mask off paint lines, spray multiple coats, sand or buff. Installation only took minutes and the aircraft was ready for immediate flight! Air Graphics GSS program minimizes aircraft down time and costly paint services.
